About Nancy Beals
The “creative genius” behind NancyB...Cards is yours truly, Nancy Biscevic Beals, an award winning photographer. I have turned my photographs into collectible art greeting cards since 1995. I enjoy using my art training in the creation of these unique cards. Creating cards provides an opportunity to do what I really love doing most: showing others the beauty around us, and, hopefully, increasing the joy in their lives.
My photographic subjects are in various categories: flowers, animals, nature scenes, seascapes, landscapes, and city scenes. I truly enjoy finding and capturing the beauty that exists all around us. Through my E-cards, cards, and enlargements, I am able to share this beauty with others. If my pictures make you look at a flower, a beautiful seascape or landscape, an animal, or a familiar structure in a new, appreciative way, then I have accomplished what I set out to do.
Originally, I used a Nikon 6006 SLR and progressed to a Nikon N80 SLR. Then switching from film cameras to digital SLRs, I moved on to a Nikon Coolpix 8700 and finally the Nikon D200, using wide angle and zoom lenses. My favorite lens is the Nikkor 18-200mm VR.

I have received numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, as well as Honorable Mention awards, from the Alameda Photographic Society, Northern California Camera Club, and the Photographers' Forum.

NancyB...Cards is a distinctive line of blank note cards featuring original photo-art of various subjects, including floral images, pets and animals, forests and parks, winter scenes, and familiar landmarks. Here, on my online catalog, I offer over 350 cards, all of which can be E-cards or paper cards. Many of the photos are available as 8 x 12 or 12 x 18 enlargements.
The E-cards and blank note cards are the perfect way to wish someone in your life a “happy birthday”, “happy anniversary”, or “bon voyage”. They are also appropriate for wishing someone to “get well” or wishing someone “congratulations”. For any occasion, an E-card or note card by NancyB...Cards, is the ideal way to express how you feel.
The enlargements work well as a thoughtful gift for someone else or as a piece of artwork to enhance the interior of your home or office.
My mission for NancyB...Cards is to produce E-cards, along with collectible, high-quality, handmade photo cards, that capture the beauty surrounding us, so when the photos are viewed, the individual will receive a feeling of joy and happiness and, perhaps, a feeling of awe.
Each photograph for note cards and enlargements is produced from a high-resolution digital file. A high-end inkjet printer, spraying droplets of archival inks, produces extremely smooth and consistent copies of the photograph. This method of printing is called the Giclée Process. Giclée prints are well accepted in art museums and art galleries around the world. The high-end inkjet printers used are the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 and R1800 printers.
Since 1995, I have produced high-end photographic note cards and enlargements and provided friendly and responsive service. Now you can e-mail these great photos as E-cards!
